Our Property Service is tailor-made to our clients. We regularly receive requests to help vulnerable people who may have broken their tenancy agreement and require help around their home. In this situation we usually meet the tenant, with their housing officer or social worker to discuss their requirements prior to any work being completed.
Our staff are trained on mental health awareness and will compassionately clear the property of all waste and unwanted chattels, we complete a deep clean and supply furniture and home essentials to make a house a home, this can be done in one day.
However, this can also be stressful for the tenant and in certain situations, cause the tenant upset and trauma. In these circumstances our approach is different, we can visit the tenant in their home and spend time with them over a coffee, we discuss their requirements and make small differences over a period that suits them. The job will still be completed to a high standard, but the tenant is relaxed and happy to proceed at a slower pace.
